Hi, my name is Ashley, and I created this website with the hopes that you will be blessed by the words God has given me to encourage you further in your journey to wholeness and authenticity, while fostering a community of women along the way. 

The journey to starting AU has been a rollercoaster!  Some time after I graduated from college, a friend felt led to share her vision with me, and it included me. This vision included a boutique. However, through prayer and conversation, we agree that our collaboration would be one to inspire and uplift women through motivational speaking. Now, while that friend and I did not continue the vision together, the mission was the same. I felt led to continue with a new name, and one that reflects the journey I am currently on. Hence, Authentically Unique. 

I have been on a journey of seeing and discovering myself the way Christ does and showing up in that way in the world. I’m learning to walk in the confidence and authority that He has given me, and the people who walk alongside me are detrimental to my journey.  I have learned, while on this path currently, how important it is to have a community. I'll be honest in saying that I was one who demonstrated, through my actions, that I had a lack of trust in people and was not willing to let them in. However, with an all-new level of surrender to Christ, I can say that I now have a thriving community of people who keep me accountable, encourage & pray for me. This helped strengthen my relationship with Christ and how I show up in the world.
